Puppets Are Pretty Popular Today

The very first puppet I remember growing up as a child.

Pinocchio
Ever since the Muppet’s on sesame street puppets are very popular. They can be very expensive depending on what kind of puppet you want. When I went searching for one for my son I was surprised at all the different choices out there. You had big puppets and smaller puppets. Then there were female and male puppets.

I don’t know about you but for some reason I love Pocket Watches. I have some that were given to me as gifts. I have one that belonged to my grandfather and he carried it in world war I and II from what I understand. At this time it does not work, but maybe some day I will get it repaired.

Who Is Looking For Renaissance Swords, Daggers ETC......

I love renaissance swords, daggers and clothing. Ever since I was in my brothers renaissance wedding I love those items. I have my own rapier sword and two daggers. When I had to get the swords and daggers for my outfit I could not believe all the different kinds of renaissance items you can purchase.

Some CB Radio Equipment and Ham Radio Equipment

There is a good amount of 11 meter or CB Radio equipment out there for sale on the internet. My advise is to check out ebay and amazon.com . There are other dealers on the internet that sell various types of CB radio equipment. I have seen some very nice CB Radio bases. I in fact have a Texas Ranger TR696F-SSB base radio that performs extremely well. I have my silver eagle microphone connected to it. I use an imax 2000 vertical antenna connected to the base radio.

If you are in the market for a cb radio or ham radio check out ebay or amazon. If you are interested in ham radios check out the various dealers on the internet as well. There are plenty of different types of equipment for both hobbies. I would suggest to check out any reviews on whatever the equipment is that you are interested in. Websites such as Eham.net have a lot of excellent information on all types of equipment.

Need an antenna for your cb radio base or ham radio shack. Check out the various dealers on the internet. Always check for their ratings and any reviews on the website. If I am going to recommend an antenna I would suggest the imax 2000 or an antron 99. There are also antennas made by maco that do an excellent job. They have a good variety of beam antennas.

Do you need an amplifier for your ham radio station. They have some pretty good buys at ebay. Check out the various amplifiers by Ameritron. I would also suggest searching the internet for other amplifier dealers.

Where to look for Ham Radio Equipment

Being a Ham Radio Operator with my General License, I am always looking at different types of gadgets for my Ham Shack. So where do you go to look for equipment. I tend to look at the various companies selling on the internet. I generally check out Ham Radio Outlet at http://www.hamradio.com/ . I like them, because they have pretty decent prices. They also do the free shipping that seems to help out a bit with the price and saves me some money. I have never had any problem with anything I have bought from them.

Are You Searching For A Nice Guitar

Looking for a nice Guitar for a good price. When I was looking for a nice guitar I searched the local stores like the Guitar Center. They had a lot of nice guitars, but the prices at the time were a little too much. There were some other local music stores like the House Of Guitars and one place called Stutzmans. I did buy a nice Crate Amplifier from them a few years before that and I was very satisfied with the amp and the price. I still have it to this day and it still works very good. Here is a link to their website http://www.stutzmansguitarcenter.com/ . When I checked out the House Of Guitars they just did not have what I was looking for. I have been going to the House Of Guitars ever since I was seventeen back in the late 70s. Here is a link to their website http://www.houseofguitars.com/  . I still have my classical guitar that I bought from the House Of Guitars when I was in my early 30s.

Ok so where did I go from there. I went on the internet and started searching around for a good place with good reviews and good prices. I ended up at a place called the Musicians Friend. They had an awesome selection of guitars as well as many other musical instruments. I ended up buying a washburn acoustical electric guitar. I liked it because I could play it without the amplifier or with my crate amplifier connected. It plays really nice and stays in tune.

Where Can I Find That Online Etc.....

I am one of those people that always like to help someone. I have apparently gotten this from my Grandparents and my Mother. I would always see my Grandfather and Grandmother doing whatever they could for someone even if it was very simple. I guess this has rubbed off on me. I worked as an Electronic Technician from 1984 to 1996. I started working as a Computer Technician since 1996 and still do to this present day. So if anyone has a question I would be more than happy to help out or direct you to somewhere to get the proper information.
Now on to the topic at hand. I have various hobbies that have involved in searching for various items. They can be anything from electronic components to tools for the job as well as anything to do with the computer. My main hobby is with the ham radio. Yes I am a ham radio operator. I have my Technician license and have been licensed with my General license since June 0f 2010. Before that I was a CB Radio Operator in 11 Meter Radio since I was 18 years old.
So where do I look for the various items I need or use? Well the first place I like to go to is of course Amazon.com .  I have found everything from Electronics, Ham Radio Equipment, Clothing and more. Oh I forgot to mention I also love music especially Guitars. I have at least five Guitars at present. They range from a Les Paul Studio Guitar, Washburn Electronic Acoustic Guitar, two Acoustics and a Classical  Guitar. Did I ever take lessons you might ask. The answer to that is no. I have always loved guitar music and when I saw a friend play his guitar I knew I wanted one. I have had a few other guitars that I sold along the way.
The second place that I like to look for anything in my hobbies or for any other reason is Ebay. I have bought a few things through Ebay. I have also used it to look up information on something I may be interested in. The nice thing with Ebay is that you will find new and used items. You can bid on an item and get it for a good price. My only advise is to check out the seller and look at the ratings before you buy something. Yes there are some not so nice individuals out there that care nothing of you, but only want your money. The same thing goes with Amazon. I would look at any reviews to see what people have said. The reviews can be either good or bad and that makes a difference on what I choose to purchase.
Another good tool to use on the internet is a website called reseller ratings. I had purchased some items for a computer I was building a long time ago and basically had nothing but trouble with the place I purchased them from. I did some research on the internet and happened to find reseller ratings. Low and behold I found out that tons of other people had the same problem. The morale of the story is Buyer Beware. Here is a link to their website http://www.resellerratings.com/ .
There are plenty of websites out there for every item you are looking for. Some of my favourites for computer items is Newegg. They have some pretty good prices and usually have what I need. Here is a link to their website http://www.newegg.com/ . If you are looking for ham radio equipment check out Ham Radio Outlet, MFJ, Universal Radio, DX Engeering and AES Electronics. Here are some links to them http://www.hamradio.com/ , http://www.mfjenterprises.com/ , http://www.universal-radio.com/ , http://www.dxengineering.com/ and http://www.aesham.com/ . I have always had great success with all of them.
I just wanted to add my favourite place for finding anything from cloth to hunting and sporting goods. I have even gone to this website for items to build ham radio antennas. The website is called Cabelas. I love to buy my chamois shirts to keep me warm from them. The merchandise has always been good quality. Here is a link to their website http://www.cabelas.com/ .
Well at this time I would like to say happy searching, be safe and have a nice day.
